It’s a domino effect. As different as they may seem, wrestlers can be similar to people in a lot of different ways. This can include getting into some trouble for what people may think of them. In today’s world, making the wrong kind of statement on social media can get someone in a lot of trouble in a hurry and that seems to be the case again. This time though, two more people are in some hot water as a result.

Over the last several weeks, there have been very few topics as discussed as the series of riots and protests nationwide. Sparked by the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, thousands of people have begun protesting around the country, often in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. Not everyone has been in agreement with the situation though, and one wrestler may have gotten his partners in trouble.

According to Fightful.com, the Forgotten Sons are not expected to be part of the upcoming episodes of SmackDown as their push is on hold due to Jaxson Ryker’s pro-Donald Trump tweets. Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake have made no such tweets or statements but their pushes have been put on hold as well. The original plan called for the Forgotten Sons to be placed into a feud with New Day, though New Day faced Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro on the most recent SmackDown. Rykers’ comments have not been well received by various wrestlers.

You might not be seeing them for a long time. Check out the Forgotten Sons:

Opinion: This is something that you kind of had to expect. At the end of the day, there are consequences to what you say and right now, Ryker’s comments were not going to be well received. You may or may not see that as fair, but this was always going to be the reaction given the current situation. At the same time, it is rather unfair to see Cutler and Blake in trouble for not saying anything, but unfortunately that is how WWE works.
