And down the rankings they come! The past few weeks of “Smackdown Live” have been a little bit rocky. In addition to the show not being the most thrilling in the world, there have been some rather uninteresting feuds, along with some stories that aren’t exactly clicking with the fans. How has that been affecting the ratings?

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Smackdown Live” drew a .76 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.603 million viewers. These numbers are down 7% and 4% respectively from last week’s .82 rating and 2.72 million viewers. The show was headlined by a handicap match pitting Kevin Owens/Sami Zayn vs. Randy Orton/Shinsuke AJ Styles/Shinsuke Nakamura.

Opinion: Hopefully these ratings issues continue to be a problem and therefore show WWE that there’s not a lot of interest in face Shane McMahon vs. heel Daniel Bryan. I have no idea who would want to see that feud but for some reason it certainly seems to be where we’re headed. Last night’s show was really not that good and hopefully that’s not a sign of things to come.
