He’s back, but is he better than ever? If you know the history of the Monday Night Wars (and it’s hard to be a wrestling fan and not having it beaten into your head a time or eight), you know the name of Eric Bischoff. Back in the 1990s, Bischoff went to war with the WWF and Vince McMahon while giving him more problems than any other wrestling company ever has. It was a shock to see him on “Monday Night Raw” and now it’s time to do it again.

According to PWInsider.com, Bischoff will be appearing at the “Monday Night Raw” 25th Anniversary Show on January 22. This would be Bischoff’s first appearance on the show in over ten years as he last appeared on the 15th Anniversary Show. Bischoff has appeared on the WWE Network since then.

Here’s how Bischoff left the company the first time around.

FULL-LENGTH MOMENT - Raw - The Trial of Eric Bischoff

Opinion: While Bischoff might be more associated with another promotion, he had a very long run as General Manager of “Monday Night Raw”, lasting over three years in the job. It’s fine to have him show up, especially if it’s just for a short appearance as there are bigger names who should have the spot.

What did you think of Bischoff’s time in WWE? Are you glad he’s back for the show? Let us know in the comments below.
