Ho, and may I add, hum. To say “Smackdown Live” hasn’t exactly been inspiring television as of late would be a huge understatement. At the moment, it’s just not very engaging and that doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon. This week’s show was the go home episode for “Clash of Champions 2017” and that means it’s important to have a strong audience. Was that the case?
According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Smackdown Live” drew a .71 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.481 million viewers. These numbers are down 7% and .5% respectively from last week’s .76 rating and 2.493 million viewers. This week’s show was headlined by Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Kevin Owens.

Opinion: I’m not really surprised at the numbers being down as the show has been much more boring than bad as of late. It just hasn’t done anything for me throughout the last few weeks and that doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of getting better. The main stories feel like we’re filling time until something big, but that’s been the case for way too long now. Do something interesting already.
