Please let him keep his name. Earlier this month, it was announced that “205 Live” would begin to run some exclusive house shows in January of next year. The current roster might not be able to support that kind of workload, which is why they probably need some fresh blood. A few names have been rumored for the spot and now we might know when one of them will be starting.

According to PWInsider, Rockstar Spud should be starting at next week’s TV tapings. He will be appearing both on “205 Live” and “Monday Night Raw” going forward and could debut on either show. Rockstar Spud left Impact Wrestling in September and signed with WWE in October after a five year run with the company.

Here’s one of Rockstar Spud’s last Impact Wrestling appearances.

Opinion: This is really nice to see as Rockstar Spur comes off as one of the nicest guys in wrestling. I’m glad to see him get a chance on the biggest stage there is and hopefully he gets a chance to do something special. It also makes sense that he’s going straight to the main roster as “205 Live” is pretty clearly the ceiling for him. Don’t waste time with him in developmental and let him give the show the boost.

What do you think of Rockstar Spud? Will he win the Cruiserweight Title? Let us know in the comments below.
