205 Live to Change Start Time Beginning in January

205 Live has traditionally aired as soon as ‘Smackdown Live‘ has finished, but that is set to change in January as WWE prepares to launch the ‘Mixed Match Challenge‘ (MMC) series.

In early January when WWE begins the MMC series, they will be filming in the same location as ‘Smackdown Live’ right after it ends. This obviously means 205 Live needs to have a change in time slot.

For the 12 weeks that the MMC airs, WWE will place 205 Live in a 10:30pm EST timeslot. This is half an hour after ‘Smackdown Live’ goes off the air.

The MMC episode will air on Facebook Watch and is scheduled to stay on air for 20 minutes. This provides WWE with a ten minute gap to change the set over to that of 205 Live.

It is unknown how this shift in start time will affect the audience in attendance at the show, but based on recent attendance records, it doesn’t look good.
