Why have one when you can have two? The ending of last week’s episode of “Smackdown Live” saw Shane McMahon appoint himself guest referee for Sami Zayn/Kevin Owens vs. Shinsuke Nakamura/Randy Orton at “Clash of Champions 2017”. In addition to that, if Owens and Zayn lose, they’re fired from WWE. That sounds a little too unfair so a change has been made.

This week on “Smackdown Live”, Owens and Zayn were complaining about McMahon’s abuse of power and wanted something done about it. General Manager Daniel Bryan agreed and made himself the second guest referee for the match. There is no word on which of the two of them will be the in-ring referee.

The bosses have had some tension for a good while.

Shane McMahon calls out Daniel Bryan: SmackDown LIVE, Nov. 28, 2017

Opinion: WWE isn’t exactly hiding the fact that this is the main event and I wouldn’t be surprised if it closes Sunday’s show. You know, the one about CHAMPIONS. McMahon continues to dominate the show, which doesn’t do much for you if you’re not a fan of the guy. This isn’t the most thrilling story in the world but a big change could help things out quite a bit.

Who do you think wins the match? Will either referee turn to the other side? Let us know in the comments below.
