Say that again. One of the most important parts of a wrestling show is the commentary team. They’re the fans’ guide to the show and tell you what you need to know about a wrestling show. If you get used to a pair of voices, it makes you feel more at home during the broadcast. That makes the commentary team at “Slammiversary 2017” a bit tricky.

According to Impact Wrestling’s official Twitter, the pay per view will feature commentary by former full time commentator Don West and former ESPN broadcaster Robert Flores. The regular commentary team of Jeremy Borash and Josh Matthews are having a tag match during the show, meaning they can’t do the broadcasting.

Opinion: It says a lot that this is some of the best news I’ve heard about the show in a good while. I don’t have to listen to Matthews and Borash running their mouths about how awesome their match is going to be because one of the two top stories in the company is the battle between two announcers.
