Maybe we can put them all in a house. Tradition and history are major parts of wrestling as fans always compare one generation to another. This makes for some interesting debates, but at the same time there’s often a feeling that the previous generations are better almost by definition. Therefore, it makes sense to honor the past when we have the chance, which might include this coming Sunday.

According to WrestleZone.com, there will be a legends appreciation ceremony at Sunday’s “Money in the Bank 2017” pay per view. Names such as Ric Flair, Bob Orton Jr., Larry Hennig, Baron Von Raschke and Greg Gagne are all confirmed with a few others being possible. The legends could also play a role in the Randy Orton vs. Jinder Mahal match. WWE held a legends ceremony in St. Louis at “Bad Blood: In Your House” back in 1997.

Opinion: This would make sense as St. Louis is a legendary wrestling town and it’s always nice to see legends acknowledged, as they deserve to be. If nothing else it’s a way to fill in some time on a show that is having eleven performers in a pair of matches, which makes for a hard evening to stretch into three hours.
