Paige Uploads Video Training for In-Ring Return

WWE Women’s wrestler Paige has been out of action for months, and many have debated her status with the company based on her relationship with current Impact Wrestling and GFW Heavyweight Champion Alberto El Patron, previously known as Alberto Del Rio in WWE.

Paige today released a video via her Instagram where she was with a trainer working out in preparation for her return to active competition.

Her video was accompanied by a message, which said the following:

“Gym in the morning. Cardio in the afternoon. Boxing time with one of our trainers.

“So you can throw me to the wolves
Tomorrow I will come back
Leader of the whole pack
Beat me black and blue
Every wound will shape me
Every scar will build my throne”
Working my ass off to get back in shape and become a better me.”

It is unknown exactly what this means, but it appears she may be alluding to wanting to come back and prove everybody wrong and provide everyone with a fresh perception of her.

It has been noted in the past that there has been tension between WWE and Paige over her relationship with El Patron. This has over time became worse due to what El Patron has said via TMZ and various forms of social media about the company, among working for Impact Wrestling where Paige was reportedly seen backstage.

WWE may be preparing Paige for a push as The Rock, who recently had an exchange with an NXT superstar over Twitter, is working on a film portraying Paige and her life. It was also recently reported that one of the lead actors in that film has now signed with WWE.

I hope everything is mutually cool between Paige and WWE. I like her and El Patron, so I hope everything works out for them, but can continue to be fine for her and WWE, regardless of what El Patron thinks of the company. Paige became who she is today because of the company and they have put a lot of investment into her for a reason. She is very talented and WWE is the place for her to showcase said talent.
