Then why are they there? There are a lot of wrestlers on the WWE roster these days and that is not always the best situation. While the people around are all talented, there is simply not enough time for everyone to be featured at one point or another. It can become an issue to find something for everyone to do and that was certainly the case this week, but in a different way.

Earlier this week, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre announced that he had tested positive for the Coronavirus. That is not the kind of change that you can just pass over, as it is going to have a major impact on the rest of the company. If nothing else, it makes you wonder how many other people on the roster are going to test positive in the near future. It seemed that we had an idea on Monday, but apparently not so fast.

According to PWInsider.com, several wrestlers were available at this week’s Monday Night Raw but neither wrestled nor appeared on the show for some reason. Cedric Alexander, Shelton Benjamin, Asuka, Nikki Cross, Humberto Carrillo and Ricochet were all available for the show but did not appear. This came as four wrestlers wrestled multiple matches on the same Monday Night Raw.

Some people wrestled twice. Check out who had a double shift on this week’s show:

Opinion: This company does not make the most sense at times and that is the case again here. Assuming there was no medical reason to keep these people off of the show, wouldn’t it make sense to have some wrestlers, including three current champions, appear on the show? Just for the sake of variety if nothing else. It’s not like the show was the strongest in the first place and this doesn’t exactly make things better.
