At least he didn’t kill anyone. Last night at “Royal Rumble 2017”, one of the expected names to make their debut was Samoa Joe. However, as you probably know by now, that wasn’t what happened. The thirty names came and went but there was no Samoa Joe. Instead, Samoa Joe made his debut tonight on “Monday Night Raw” under some interesting circumstances.

The big ending segment to tonight’s show was Triple H making his return to call out Seth Rollins. This brought Rollins to the ring but Samoa Joe jumped him from behind, seemingly making himself Triple H’s new enforcer. Samoa Joe went on to beat Rollins down and choke him out to end the show.

This should certainly work fine for a big “Fastlane 2017” match but I’m not sure how we go from there to “Wrestlemania XXXIII” without Rollins going over Samoa Joe, which really wouldn’t make a ton of sense. At least we got a great moment though and that’s the best thing that could have happened, especially after a feud that hasn’t had the most positive buildup so far.

What did you think of Samoa Joe’s debut? Who do you want to see him face at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”? Let us know in the comments below.
