Watch: Brock Lesnar Demands WrestleMania Match

We knew it was coming, and Brock Lesnar’s Raw appearance tonight gave us exactly what we expected.

Paul Heyman, with his infinitely wonderful promo skills, presented the argument that every great person has a “yeah, but.” For Brock Lesnar, that’s Goldberg.

After losing to the former WCW star at WrestleMania XX, the Beast was once again challenged at Survivor Series, where he was defeated in under two minutes. The result was much the same at the Royal Rumble, where Goldberg eliminated Lesnar in a matter of seconds.

While Heyman openly challenged Goldberg on behalf of Lesnar, even he painted Lesnar as an underdog in the fight. You can see that clip below.

We’ve been expecting a Goldberg versus Brock Lesnar WrestleMania rematch since shortly after Survivor Series, and every report we’ve heard on the mega-event’s card has made the bout a marquee match. Goldberg is set to appear on the next edition of Raw, where we certainly expect him to accept the challenge.

The question, though, is whether a title will be on the line in this fight. Goldberg is expected to have a match at Fastlane, and it very well could be for the Universal Title.
