That’s a long time from now. You never know what kind of report you’re going to get from a wrestling injury. Some of them are far worse than others and because of that, the time spent waiting to hear the recovery time is one of the scariest time for wrestlers, the wrestling company and the fans. In this case, the news is pretty and the news is just bad all around.
In a new video posted to WWE’s YouTube page, Jeff Hardy has revealed that he will be out of action for six to nine months due to knee surgery. Hardy injured his knee at a house show a few weeks ago, though the official storyline gives Lars Sullivan credit for the injury. Due to Hardy going onto the shelf, he and his brother Matt were forced to vacate the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.
Hear it from his own mouth. Check out Hardy’s statement about his injury time:
Opinion: Egads that’s a rough one to hear. Hardy’s best days are behind him but this is the kind of injury that takes a lot away from a wrestler’s career. His breakneck style has caught up with him over the years and this is the latest injury that has slowed his career. Hardy is one of the all time best performers, but he can only go on so much longer with these injuries mounting up.
What do you think of Hardy’s latest WWE run? How much longer does he have in the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
