Dang it not again. Wrestling plans can change in the blink of an eye. You can plan things as long in advance as you want to, but sometimes things happen and there is no way around it. That could be due to a variety of issues, including an injury. These things can pop up out of nowhere, and unfortunately something like that has caused some champions to lose their titles.

This week on SmackDown Live, the Hardys were forced to vacate the SmackDown Tag Team Titles due to Jeff’s injured knee. The injury took place earlier this month and will require surgery, which will put Jeff on the shelf for the foreseeable future. There is no word on when Jeff will be back, or what will happen to the titles. There was no announcement of a way to crown new champions.

Things were better before. Check out the Hardys’ title win:

Opinion: It’s hard to say what this means for the titles, but it’s also hard to imagine that the Hardys were going to be anything more than just transitional champions. The tag division really needs some fresh teams to step up though and this is the chance for something just like that. There are enough talents around to make some teams if necessary, so hopefully we actually get somewhere new for a change.

Who do you want to win the titles? Will the Hardys ever win them again? Let us know in the comments below.
