Well this could get interesting. Over the last few months, Dean Ambrose’s WWE status has been one of the biggest stories in wrestling. WWE announced that he would be leaving the company, presumably to take a break from wrestling and recharge his batteries a bit. As it turns out though, there might be something new for Ambrose before he comes back, and it could be a very different world.

This is going to get people talking. Check out the very interesting video:

At midnight on May 1, Ambrose changed his Twitter handle to Jon Moxley, his name on the independent circuit, and uploaded a video showing him breaking out of a prison. The video includes a variety of symbolism, including a big dog chasing him, a sign showing the Viper Room and a pair of dice, the latter of which has been used as a symbol for the upcoming AEW Double Or Nothing event. Since Ambrose’s contract ended instead of being granted a release, the standard ninety day no compete clause would not be a factor, meaning he could appear at the event.

Opinion: Well this just got interesting. It hasn’t been a secret that Moxley wasn’t happy in the WWE and maybe he was just waiting to get out and go to AEW. Or maybe he’s just messing with all of us and having some fun. That being said, I can’t imagine such a well produced video for the sake of a gag. If Moxley goes to AEW, he’s going to be the top star in the promotion and that’s not a bad place for him to be. Moxley is a very different character than Ambrose, and that could be what he wants to do.

What do you think of the change? Will Moxley be at Double Or Nothing? Let us know in the comments below.
