So that’s what’s next. Back in 2018, WWE announced a ten year partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, setting up two shows a year for the next ten years. These shows have not been the best received events, with limited angles and matches mainly focusing on older wrestlers rather than the modern roster. It’s time to start getting ready for another event and we now know a big name coming in.

As announced on WWE.com, the upcoming June 7 show in Saudi Arabia will include the return of Goldberg, who has not wrestled since WrestleMania 33 in 2017 when he lost the Universal Championship to Brock Lesnar. There is no word on whether or not Goldberg will appear on WWE TV either before or after this show. The Undertaker and Lesnar are also advertised for the show, along with several regular active WWE stars.

Things feel big there. Check out what happened the first time WWE was in the country:

Opinion: That’s certainly a big name and it seems clear that the Saudi Arabian government officials involved in these shows want to have some famous talent included. Goldberg is someone who is going to be able to get over by being one of the most intimidating people on the show and hitting his two big moves to win in about thirty seconds. That’s a rather good idea and it’s not like it’s something that they can screw up very easily.

Do you like the idea of Goldberg on the show? What should he do there? Let us know in the comments below.
