The boss likes him. Earlier this year, Paul Heyman was named the Executive Director of Monday Night Raw, putting him in charge of a wrestling show for the first time in several years. A lot of fans were pleased with the development as Heyman has a history of pushing lower named wrestlers to high levels, which is something fans have been wanting to see. Now we know someone he may have his eyes on.

There are a lot of names on the Monday Night Raw roster, many of whom have never been able to get a break. With so many people running around on the show and so many people getting a lot of television time almost every single week, it can take time to get them the kind of break that they need. Sometimes it helps to have someone give you that break, and that may be the case for someone soon.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Heyman is high on Buddy Murphy and plans to make him into an important player on Monday Night Raw. Murphy has been rumored for such a push for several weeks now and was featured on Sunday’s Tables, Ladders And Chairs match in a loss to Aleister Black. There is no word on what is in store for Murphy or what he is going to be doing next.

Murphy was on fire on Sunday. Check out his match with Black:

Opinion: I can’t say I blame Heyman for being a fan of Murphy as he has been successful everywhere he has had a chance. It makes sense to give him a chance like this, mainly because Murphy is someone that could be a big deal if he is given the chance. You never know what you might find if you give someone a shot and maybe Murphy can be a success for the company.

What do you think of Murphy? Who else should get pushed on Monday Night Raw? Let us know in the comments below.
