Double time? October has been a rather rocky month for some members of the WWE roster. Some of the things that WWE has done over the course of the month have been far from well received and that does not seem to be changing anytime soon. One of the worst received incidents all month was the ending to Hell In A Cell though, with Seth Rollins defeating the Fiend via referee stoppage to retain the Universal Title. The fans very audibly booed the finish and it was made even worse when WWE announced a rematch for Crown Jewel. It turns out that WWE had an idea in mind though and it could be interesting.

According to Fightful Select by way of Sportskeeda.com, the original plan for Crown Jewel was always a rematch between Rollins and the Fiend, which was to feature a double turn as Rollins would switch heel and Fiend would switch face. However, this may no longer be the case due to the negative reception their original match at Crown Jewel received. Either way, the Crown Jewel Falls Count Anywhere rematch is expected to be the final blowoff between the two of them.

It has been a long road to Crown Jewel. Check out some of the bigger points between the two:

Opinion: This is one of those things that could go either way, though I’m not sure if it would matter if the Fiend can’t win the title from Rollins. He needs some kind of a big win after having his legs cut out from underneath him in the Cell. That was a decision that caused some long lasting damage and it would make a lot more sense to give the Fiend something to make up for it. That being said, I’m thinking we’re going to see Rollins winning again because WWE doesn’t seem to think that wins and losses matter, despite the reception that Rollins has received since defeating the Fiend in their first match.
