Hello again. Back in October, Roman Reigns was forced to vacate the Universal Title due to leukemia. It was a sad day for wrestling fans, though Reigns promised that he would be back in time. There was no word on when that would be the case, but then it was announced that Reigns would be appearing this week on Monday Night Raw with a huge announcement. So what did the Big Dog have to bark about?
Reigns opened this week’s Monday Night Raw with the announcement that he is in remission, meaning the cancer is currently not in his body. That means that he is back, though he did not give a date or a range of time for his return to the ring. Reigns has not wrestled in WWE since the October 15 episode of Monday Night Raw when he wrestled in a six man tag.
What did the fans have to say about Reigns being back? Check out this collection of statements:
Opinion: Well that’s good. There are more details that need to be worked out but the big story here is that Reigns is in remission, which is the best news of all. I’m not sure when he’ll be getting back in the ring, but just hearing that he’s a lot healthier is a great sign. The wrestling isn’t what matters here, but the fact that he can walk out there and look to be in awesome shape is very encouraging.
