Ric Flair Announces Movie Being Made About His Life, Rock Involved

There are going to be some stories to tell. Wrestlers are the kind of people that you don’t see every day. All kinds of wrestlers exist but there are only a few true legends. Those are the kind of people that you hear about almost every single day and who will be talked about forever. Some names even go beyond the world of wrestling and enter pop culture, which is going to be the case for a major wrestling name.

There are very few wrestlers on the level of Ric Flair. Whether it is in the ring, on the microphone or some combination of everything else, Flair is the kind of wrestler that only comes around once in a generation, even if that often. He is still revered to this day and that will be the case for a long time to come. It might even be more so than than usual in the near future.

Flair was a guest on Busted Open Radio and talked about an upcoming film being made about his life. There is no word on any casting or a possible release date. The Rock and his business partner Dany Garcia will be producing the movie under the Rock’s Seven Bucks company. The same company produced Fighting With My Family, a film about Paige’s life and career.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that could work out rather well should the movie actually be made. I’m not entirely sure who would play Flair but it would be quite the role to pull off. Flair is one of the more complicated wrestlers in history and someone who has been around for so long and done so many things that he is going to be tricky to cast. Either way, it’s great to see something like this taking place.
