Better to be made in America. Last week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw”, which aired taped from London, England, didn’t do so well in the ratings, drawing the lowest audience of the year. The question was how well would a live version do the next week. Was it just the taped aspect of the show or was it really that bad no matter where things were?
It turned out that things were a bit better but still bad. According to Showbuzz Daily,
“Monday Night Raw” drew 2.751 million viewers, up from last week’s 2.696 million. The hourly breakdown was 2.844 million, 2.724 million and 2.645 million and was headlined by Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt. This is the third straight week that the show drew less than three million viewers.
Opinion: As usual, the NBA Playoffs, which featured a game seven featuring the Boston Celtics, dominated the ratings and there’s not much WWE can do about that. Mainstream sports regularly destroy everything in front of them and the best WWE can do is ride things out. Last night’s main event wasn’t the most interesting in the world and the audience seems to reflect that.
