How do you say slobberknocker in English? Jim Ross returned to the WWE commentary booth at “Wrestlemania XXXIII” and soon after that it was revealed that he would be doing somewhat regular commentary going forward. It turns out that we now know one of those first matches, which will be airing in the near future.

Ross revealed on Twitter that he will be calling the United Kingdom Championship match at “Takeover: Chicago” where champion Tyler Bate defends against Pete Dunne. Bate defeated Dunne for the inaugural title back in December. Dunne then became the new #1 contender at the first tapings of the regular WWE UK TV show last week.

Opinion: This is appropriate and there’s almost no reason for Bate to keep the title at this point. Let Ross be there for the big title change as only he can call it. The match should be a lot of fun and Ross and McGuinness should be a good commentary duo. I could live with Ross as the main commentator on the new series, which certainly sounds like a way to take some steam away from the World of Sport series where Ross was set to fill the same role.
