I certainly hope he’s kidding. Outside of WrestleMania, I don’t remember the last time I’ve seen a pay per view with as much hype as Double Or Nothing. Despite being AEW’s first ever event, fans are wanting to see it in a way that you do not get with wrestling shows these days. However, there is a chance that one of the promotion’s biggest stars might not be participating.

In the latest episode of Being The Elite, Adam Page appeared with a bandage around his knee, saying that he will not be allowed to compete at Double Or Nothing due to injuries sustained during an attack by Pac in a recent match in England. The match in question was a replacement match as Pac had refused to work the show due to creative differences. At the moment it is not clear if this is a work or not, meaning Page could still wrestle on the show.

Is it a work of a shoot? Check out the episode and see for yourself:

Opinion: It’s pretty convenient timing to have Pac off the show due to creative differences and Page off the show due to an injury in the span of the last ten or so days before the show. There is always the chance that this is legitimate, but it comes off as a way to get some interest built for an eventual match. Either way is acceptable, though hopefully Page is not injured and gets to work the show in some way.

Do you think the injury is legitimate? Which Double Or Nothing match are you looking forward to most? Let us know in the comments below.
