So That’s Why. Here Are The Reasons Kevin Owens And Aleister Black Are Not Working Super ShowDown.

Some perfectly logical reasons. We’re about two weeks away from Super ShowDown and that might not be the best thing in the world depending on who you ask. Some wrestlers have made it clear that they will not be wrestling on the show with their requests being granted. While some of the names have fairly obvious reasons, some needed an extra explanation, which we now have.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kevin Owens and Aleister Black have individual reasons for not working the show. In Owens’ case, it was a situation of his family not wanting him to go to the show. On the other hand, Black is not allowed to go due to some of his tattoos which contain religious symbolism. Such tattoos may offend some of the Saudi government officials, meaning that Black could be in trouble for wrestling on the shows.

Opinion: So in addition to wrestlers not being able to appear because of their heritage, they now can’t appear because of how they look due to worrying about offending someone? The level of bending over backwards for this show is amazing and I’m hoping that anyone who isn’t allowed to work on the show is compensated in some way. They can’t get probably their biggest payday of the year because of some tattoos? That’s where we are now?
