Even NXT isn’t immune. The injury bug has been running rampant in WWE as of late, with one superstar after another going down. Some of these injuries have been worse than others, but any kind of time on the shelf is a bad thing. The injuries have been piling up down in developmental as well, and now another star has announced that he’s going to be missing some time.
In a new video posted to his Twitter account, Dominik Dijakovic announced that he has torn his meniscus and undergone surgery to repair it. The injury derails Dijakovic’s quest for the North American Title but he promises to return and go after it when he comes back. There is no word on when Dijakovic was injured or any timetable for his return. Big E. is currently out after undergoing surgery for the same injury.
In his own words. Check out Dijakovic’s announcement:
Opinion: That’s an even worse one than usual as Dijakovic is one of the more interesting prospects in the entire developmental system. He has the size, power and natural abilities to become a top star and it seemed that he would be starting to become a top star in NXT. Hopefully he comes back better than ever, which certainly isn’t out of the question. NXT sees something in him so maybe things will be fine.
What do you think of Dijakovic? What should he do when he’s back? Let us know in the comments below.
