Maybe they’re running out of ideas. There have been a lot of people under the WWE umbrella over the company’s history. While I’m sure you’re familiar with names like Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan, there are a lot more names who do not have the same history and would be better described as footnotes. Some of those names are more memorable than others and some for a bad reason. One of the latter cases is ready to get back in the ring.

Every now and then, you see something in wrestling that you are always going to remember, but in a bad way. Sometimes wrestlers do something that you can’t get out of your mind and it keeps a place in your head for a very long time to come. More often than not these things are more negative than positive, but this time around the person who did it is getting back in the ring several years later.

Former WWE Cameron, under her real name of Ariane Andrew, will be returning to the ring over WrestleMania weekend at an event called Effy’s Big Gay Brunch. There is no word on who Andrew will be facing at the event. Andrew is best known for her time as Cameron in WWE, where she appeared on Total Divas and was part of the Funkadactyls with Naomi. This will be her first match in over four years after being released from WWE.

She doesn’t have the longest resume. Check out Cameron’s most infamous moment and a match against someone a little more polished:

Opinion: This comes off as more of a bizarre stunt than anything else. Cameron was never a huge star and never showed any major potential. I’m not sure how much drawing power she would have, but I’m not sure what kind of in-ring abilities she’s going to have after four years away from the sport. Maybe they can hide her limitations with some smoke and mirrors, but it’s going to be quite the trick.

Would you want to see Cameron back in the ring? How will the match go? Let us know in the comments below.
