It must be a wrestling thing. Earlier this year, Chris Jericho’s AEW World Title was stolen out of his limousine while he was having dinner at a Longhorn Steakhouse in Tallahassee, Florida. What could have been a huge problem for AEW wound up being little more than a good story, as not only did AEW have a spare title but they also found the original. Well now it has happened again, but to another company.

According to PWInsider.com, the WWE United Kingdom Championship was stolen from Walter’s rental car in Chicago on Saturday, where he was in town to wrestle at Evolve 142. Walter’s passport was also stolen in the robbery. Fellow wrestler Timothy Thatcher was also robbed in the same parking lot. The robbery is part of of a string of car robberies in the Logan Square area of Chicago. There is no word on what WWE will do about the missing title.

Walter is a hot commodity in WWE since winning the title. Check out some of his recent moments:

WALTER answers Seth Rollins' challenge: Raw, Nov. 11, 2019

Opinion: This sounds like one of those things that couldn’t be prevented as Walter left the title in his car and likely locked it. I’m not sure how long he was away from the car but how long can you expect him to carry it around? There is a good chance that he would be bringing the title into the arena with him so having him leave it there makes perfect sense. I’m sure WWE has a backup in case the original can’t be found, but it is still quite the story.

What do you think of Walter? When will he lose the title? Let us know in the comments below.
