I guess they can’t be everywhere. AEW has come into the wrestling world and nearly taken it by storm in less than a year. There are all kinds of incredibly talented performers in the company and they have helped carry the company that much higher than almost anyone would have been able to believe in such a short time. A lot of this is due to Dynamite, though you might not be able to go and see it everywhere.
One of the biggest moments that AEW has seen so far has been the debut of Jon Moxley. The former Dean Ambrose debuted at the end of Double Or Nothing as a big surprise, setting him up as one of the top stars in the company. Moxley has stayed in that role since and he has offered a huge benefit to AEW as a result. However, there is one thing that he will not be able to do at the moment.
According to Fightful Select by way of Ringsidenews.com, AEW will not be allowed to run an event in Moxley’s hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio due to the two major arenas in the city (US Bank Arena and Heritage Bank Arena) being loyal to WWE. AEW has wanted to run an event in the city but at the moment, it is not clear how they would be able to do so. There are no other major arenas in Cincinnati other than these two.
Moxley has been a big deal so far. Check out some of his time in AEW:
Opinion: That’s rather annoying but it’s the kind of thing that you are going to see happen more and more in the battle between the two companies. AEW has a lot of strengths but they don’t have any history to them and with history comes loyalty. Cincinnati might seem a little ridiculous here but they know what they have with WWE. We haven’t even gone a year since AEW’s first event. How much loyalty/history can you build up in that amount of time?
