Meet the new class. NXT is a rather unique wrestling promotion as not only do they exist as their own wrestling show but they are also the official developmental promotion for WWE. That means the ultimate goal of an NXT wrestler is to make the main roster, meaning that the NXT roster is rapidly changing. That is the case again, as some new names are being brought in.

There are all kinds of talented wrestlers in the world outside of WWE and AEW. Those names might not get the same kind of attention that the mainstream wrestling names get, but they are good enough to make it in a major promotion. That means that WWE is going to bring in some of those wrestlers from time to time and that is what they are doing again, with three names headlining the class.

WWE has announced their new NXT Performance Center training class, featuring three prominent names. First up are Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz, who comprised two thirds of the Rascalz in Impact Wrestling. Their third teammate, Trey Miguel, is not mentioned as having signed with WWE. The third name is Alex Zayne, who has wrestled for a variety of independent promotions plus Ring Of Honor. The other three names in the class are Sojiru “Ikemen” Higuchi, Anriel Howard and Russ Taylor. There is no word on when the new class will debut.

There is some talent there. Check out some of the new class:

Opinion: That’s a rather nice class, though it is interesting to see Miguel not included. I can go with splitting the trio up though, as Wentz and Xavier were more often a tag team anyway. Zayne impressed me in the limited work that I have seen from him so hopefully they can do it again here in NXT. If nothing else, it is nice to see these people getting their chance after putting in the effort elsewhere.

What do you think of the class? Which will be the biggest star? Let us know in the comments below.
