I’d want a revenge match after that too. Last week on Monday Night Raw, we were subject to one of the least entertaining and insulting to our intelligence segments in wrestling history. Sami Zayn brought out three men in drag pretending to be Bobby Lashley’s sisters, who talked about how horrible of a person that Lashley was. Oddly enough Lashley came out smiling and didn’t seem overly offended. I think you might know where this is going.

I’ll take this over a bad comedy sketch anyway. Did they do a good job of setting it up?

Sami Zayn "apologizes" for insulting Bobby Lashley: Raw, May 28, 2018

This week on Monday Night Raw, Zayn issued an apology for what happened but didn’t take back the things he said about Lashley. As a result, Lashley came out again and shoot Zayn’s hand while challenging him for a match at Money in the Bank. Zayn agreed and the match was officially made later in the night. This will be the first time the two have met in a singles match and Lashley’s first singles match on WWE pay per view since the 2007 Great American Bash.

Opinion: It’s not the most thrilling match in the world but I’ll take any kind of match, even a bad one, over that horrible segment. It wasn’t funny, it wasn’t interesting and it didn’t do anything for the feud. When WWE is apologizing for a segment and admitting how bad it was, you know they screwed up. Lashley’s return hasn’t been great but at least they’re giving him an opponent who can make him look good. Now just have him be a monster instead of a person and everything will be fine.

Who do you think wins this match? What will it take to get Lashley on track? Let us know in the comments below.
