By their powers sometimes combined. Back in 2012, the Shield debuted and immediately took the wrestling world by storm, turning into one of the most dominant factions WWE has ever seen. No one could stop them for months and they all became singles stars in just a few short years. At one point, the three of them were all World Champion on the same day. That’s worthy of a look back isn’t it?

The Shield's coolest moments: WWE Top 10, Oct. 14, 2017

This July, WWE is releasing a new DVD based on the Shield. The faction debuted at Survivor Series 2012 and stayed together in its original run until May 2014. The individuals then spent several years wrestling as singles stars before coming back together for a short lived reunion in 2017. The DVD set will revolve around their singles matches, with only one match featuring all three together. Here are the full listings for the set, courtesy of wrestlingdvdnetwork.com:

Opinion: That’s uh, quite the interesting selection of matches. This feels like a DVD about the people in the Shield instead of the Shield itself and that’s a different way to go about doing things. Unfortunately it also might highlight how much better they were together as while things went well for them on their own, it wasn’t as good as their time together. Still though, not the worst idea in the world.
