The New Beauty and the Beast

In case Beauty and the Manbeast isn’t enough. As you might have heard, James Ellsworth isn’t the most technically skilled wrestler. However, he’s managed to defeat AJ Styles three times and earned a Smackdown World Title shot as a result. He received his title shot….and promptly lost in 43 seconds. After the match, Styles attacked Ellsworth again, leaving him to be taken out on a stretcher.

However, all hope was not lost for Ellsworth. With nearly every part of his body wrapped up in either bandages or ice, Ellsworth tried to leave the arena when he was hounded by an interviewer asking questions. This caused Carmella of all people to come up and take Ellsworth away, saying she would look after him.

Uh….sure. This is one of those really odd ideas but for some reason I could see it going somewhere. With Ellsworth seemingly done with the main event scene (thank goodness) he needs something else to do. The same is true of Carmella, who doesn’t really have a feud going at the moment. Let them do some wacky comedy together and see where it goes. It’s not like it can really be horrible.
