Just in case you didn’t get enough of it the first time. Last night at “Roadblock: End of the Line”, Kevin Owens defeated Roman Reigns via DQ when Chris Jericho interfered to retain Owens’ Universal Title. The interference wasn’t cool with “Monday Night Raw” General Manager Mick Foley so he did something about it.

Foley made a rematch between the two for “Royal Rumble 2017” with Owens defending the title against Reigns all over again. This time though, Jericho will be stuck inside a shark cage hanging above the ring. That gimmick was recently used at NXT “Takeover: Toronto” when Paul Ellering was trapped in the same style of a cage for the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

Does anyone really need to see this match again? The main event scene on Monday nights is one of the least interesting things I’ve seen in a long time so the solution is to just keep going with the same stuff over and over. Why that’s supposed to make me want to see more of it isn’t clear, as Jericho being in the cage above the ring is hardly a strong enough gimmick to carry the feud another five weeks.

Are you interested in the rematch? Who do you see walking out of San Antonio with the title? Let us know in the comments below.
