The stacking continues. After two title matches this week on “Smackdown Live”, there will be two more of them on the final episode of 2016. In addition to the already announced four way elimination match for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles, Alexa Bliss will be defending the Smackdown Women’s Title against Becky Lynch next week.

This is a rematch from “Tables Ladders and Chairs 2016” when Bliss won the title in a big upset. Since then, Bliss has gotten herself counted out in a rematch against Lynch while claiming a knee injury. The injury seems to be a fake though, which led to Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan forcing her to face the masked La Luchadora. The mystery woman easily defeated Bliss and then unmasked as Lynch.

Sure why not. This is something “Smackdown Live” does so well: take stories that aren’t the biggest in the world and build them up into something that feels important. They’d done a great job with Bliss, who really isn’t ready to hang in the ring at this level but feels like a big time player in the division. The rematch with Lynch should be fun and can set up the inevitable Nikki Bella title program that I’m sure you’re dying to see.
