I guess he has a point. Last weekend, WWE presented its WrestleMania Backlash pay per view. The show was the fallout event from WrestleMania 37 the previous month, meaning that there were several big matches taking place on the card. At the same time though, there was something on the show that has received more attention than anything else. This has not been the best received match and now a WWE star is addressing one of the claims.
One of the matches at WrestleMania Backlash featured a zombie lumberjack match, including a group of zombies standing around the ring as Damian Priest and the Miz had a match. Priest and Miz attacked the zombies during the match, followed by the zombies attacking John Morrison and the Miz. The match has received negative reactions from fans, prompting Monday Night Raw star MVP to send out a tweet mocking fans who complain about the zombies but cheer the Undertaker. Later, MVP also listed off the various things Undertaker could do, including teleport and shoot lightning.
I think zombies in wrestling are stoopid.
Also…
Undertaker is the best!!!!!!

I don't "have" to "defend" anything. Just pointing out the ridiculous hypocrisy. Taker didn't eat people. But he was a DEAD MAN. He could teleport and shoot lightening. He was buried alive. But no, he didn't eat people. That's just too unbelievable. https://t.co/3reR7khhbN

There are some different styles here. Check out the zombies, the Undertaker and MVP:
Opinion: This might be a bit of a simplification of a comparison, but MVP does have a point in this whole thing. Yes the zombie thing was out there, and yes I was annoyed by it as well, but wrestling is a silly thing to see at times. There are parts of it that are very serious, though that is not always the case. Sometimes you are going to see something strange, and while the zombie thing was a bit much, it isn’t something that has never been done before.
