There’s serious money there. WrestleMania is the biggest wrestling event in the world, and while all the focus is on what happens in the ring, there are a few more things that can be seen over the weekend. Two of the more important things are how much merchandise is sold and whose merchandise sold the most. That could give you an insight into the fans’ mindset, so what was on their minds?
According to Brad Shepard, the most popular merchandise over WrestleMania weekend was generic WrestleMania 35 gear rather than any specific superstar. Of the major names involved with the show, Seth Rollins sold well, though not as well as Kofi Kingston. Both Rollins and Kingston were involved in World Title matches at WrestleMania and were prominently featured in the build to the show.

It’s understandable to see why things went so well. Check out a great WrestleMania highlight package:
Opinion: I’m a little surprised that it was just the WrestleMania merchandise that sold well, but it’s not the most shocking thing. Maybe the fans couldn’t pick someone in particular or thought that they were looking for a souvenir of being at the show itself rather than any specific person. Either way, it seems that a lot of fans enjoyed the show and if they come back, that’s even better.
