Set him free. Over the first four months of the year, one of the biggest stories has been the amount of wrestlers who are trying to get out of WWE. Maybe it’s the way the company is being run or maybe it’s the rise of other options such as AEW, but seeing this kind of an exodus from WWE just does not happen very often. As it turns out, another name is leaving and might even have an exit date.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, Rhyno will be leaving WWE this coming July. The move comes after several months of reports saying that Rhyno has wanted to get out of the company. There is no word on if Rhyno will appear on WWE TV again before leaving. His most recent televised match was the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35. IWC Wrestling is already advertising Rhyno for shows later this month, meaning that Rhyno is already taking independent bookings.

It was even a story last year. Check out Rhyno talking about a potential retirement in December 2018:

Opinion: This is one of those cases where Rhyno sticking aruond WWE isn’t going to change anything so if he can go somewhere else and be happier, good for him. If WWE isn’t interested in using him, let him go somewhere else. Rhyno has been around for the better part of twenty years now and his career is winding down, so let him do what he wants and have some fun.
