Get used to it. There are some stories in WWE that will just not go away. Whether you like them or not, they are allowed to continue for weeks if not months on end and it never seems to stop. That can get old in a hurry, especially if we spent several months waiting around on the first match to take place. We are currently in the middle of such a situation and it seems to be continuing.

Over the last few months, Rusev, Bobby Lashley and Lana have been involved in a love triangle on Monday Night Raw. With so many things changing in and around the show, this has been one of the few stories that has plowed along, despite a lack of interest from a lot of fans. The story does have an audience though, despite the lack of a first match. Now we know when the first match will be taking place, and there is a reason for the special stipulation.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Lashley agreed to face Rusev in a tables match at Sunday’s Tables, Ladders And Chairs pay per view. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the match will feature the tables stipulation to avoid either wrestler taking a pinfall or submission loss, thereby allowing the feud to continue. There is no word on when the story is going to wrap up.

Consider this a practice run. Check out the brawl that set up their first match:

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised, but I also can’t say I’m happy. This feud has not exactly been great so far and yet we are still going through with it week after week and month after month. There is almost no way that the match can live up to its hype, mainly because a lot of the fans just want the thing to end already. The fans may not be pleased, but this is what they’re getting no matter what.

What do you think of the feud? How do you see it ending? Let us know in the comments below.
