Well that’s new. The look is one of the most important factors in a wrestler’s overall presentation. There has to be something about a wrestler that makes them stand out and catches the audience’s attention, which can come in a variety of ways. One of the easiest is a wrestler’s facial features, and now a former WWE star has drastically changed his look from his WWE days.

Independent star PJ Black, formerly known as Justin Gabriel during his time in WWE, was interviewed by PWMania.com, where he revealed that he was now sporting a full beard and mustache. Black explained that he had grown a goatee during the Coronavirus lockdown and ultimately just let it keep growing. Black wrestled in WWE from 2010-2015 and has wrestled on the independent circuit and in promotions such as Impact Wrestling since.

Opinion: That is certainly a change of pace and a very different look for Black. The beard is something that is going to catch some eyes and it is cool to see him make that big of an adjustment. Wrestling with a bit of a beard, as Black has done for years now, is one thing but this is a completely different look and in a lot of ways, it is the kind of change that makes him feel like a more unique star.
