Get well soon. There are all kinds of reasons for a wrestler to miss an event and some of them are a lot more serious than others. You never know when you are going to see someone have to go on the shelf, but occasionally it is something that will be fine in a short while. Thankfully that seems to be the case again, though a match had to be changed as a result.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Ringing Endorsement: Former WWE Star Reveals How Steve Austin Accidentally Gave Him His Big Break

This week’s edition of AEW Dynamite was scheduled to include a Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament match between Britt Baker and Ruby Soho. However, the match had to be postponed due to Baker suffering an undisclosed illness, with the match being rescheduled for next week. This comes after Baker’s boyfriend Adam Cole’s match at Forbidden Door match was canceled due to illness as well.

Baker is a star when she is around. Check out some of her time in an AEW ring:

Opinion: This is something that happens unfortunately and the good thing is that it seems to be something that will be solved in a week. There is a big difference between an illness and a major injury so thankfully this could have been a lot worse. At the end of the day, Baker is one of the bigger stars in AEW’s women’s division and they need her out there as often as possible.

What do you think of Baker? What is next for her in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
