It took long enough. With less than two weeks to go before WrestleMania, there is only so much time left for WWE to add anything more to the card. The company does have a history of adding things in at the last minute though and that can include some of the bigger matches on the card. WWE covered one of those more important ideas this week with a new title match announced.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Elite 8: WWE Announces Full List Of Competitors For WrestleMania 39 Match
Last week on SmackDown, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn reunited after several months apart, with the intention of teaming together to fight the Bloodline. This week’s Monday Night Raw opened with Owens and Zayn calling out the Usos for a Tag Team Title match at WrestleMania. Jimmy Uso said no but his brother Jey agreed, with the match being made official. It is not clear which night the match will take place.
It’s a long time in the making. Check out how we got here:
Opinion: You had to get here at some point as I don’t think there was much doubt that the match was taking place. Zayn and Owens have joined Cody Rhodes in their attempt to take down the Bloodline. The fans seemed ready to get behind this match and that should make for one heck of a reaction in Los Angeles. The other interesting part is how the match could go either way, which isn’t something you see very often at WrestleMania.
