Call that a change? A wrestler going on hiatus can be quite the turning point in their careers as you never know when they will be gone. There are situations where this can go on for a very long time and the question becomes not when but if they will be back. That is the case with an all time great in WWE, though there has been at least something of a change in recent days.

Randy Orton has been away from WWE since May 2022 due to a back injury. He has not been seen on WWE television or referenced in several months. However, according to PWInsider, there have been “rumblings” about Orton internally in WWE for the first time in some time. There is no word on what the rumblings have been about or when he might be able to return to WWE, assuming he ever will.

Orton is an absolute legend. Check out some of his time in WWE:

Opinion: Orton has been away from WWE for about ten months now and there is a very real possibility that he will never be back. As he is already in his 40s, he is not likely to have much time left in his career anyway, but it would be great to see him come back for a few more matches, if nothing else so he can go out on his own terms instead of being forced out of the ring.
