Well it had been a whole three years. With “Royal Rumble 2017” in less than four days, it’s already time to start thinking about the event next year. While several pay per views aren’t set in stone yet, “Royal Rumble 2018’s” location is official and was announced early this morning by a local news site.

According to Philly.com, “Royal Rumble 2018” will take place at the Wells Fargo Center on January 28, 2018. This will be part of a huge Royal Rumble week of events, including an NXT Takeover special the night before the pay per view and “Monday Night Raw” and “Smackdown Live” shows the next two nights. Philadelphia last hosted the Royal Rumble in 2015.

Well Heaven forbid we don’t give the show to Philadelphia again. I mean it’s been a whole three years since they had the Royal Rumble but I’m sure there’s no other cities that could enjoy a pay per view. Did I mention I live in a state that hasn’t had a WWE pay per view since 2006? I get the idea of going with the bigger cities but it would be nice to have some of the smaller areas get thrown a bone every now and then.
