That’s a part of the show. WrestleMania has evolved quite a bit over the years. What started as little more than a beefed up live event, WrestleMania has turned into the biggest wrestling event of the year with more bells and whistles than you would ever have expected. WrestleMania is now an entertainment event and the entertainment part received a boost this week.
One of the coolest traditions at WrestleMania is a theme song being played live. There is something so special about seeing the band there in person for the theme song that has been known for so long. If nothing else, it can be cool to see if the band actually remembers the lyrics without screwing anything up in the first place. Now we will be seeing both one of those and another major WrestleMania tradition at the same time.
There will be two musical performances at WrestleMania 37. During this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw, it was announced that Grammy nominee Bebe Rexha will be performing America the Beautiful. In addition, Ash Costello of the band New Year’s Day has announced that she will be performing Rhea Ripley’s theme song Brutality on Sunday, when Ripley challenges Asuka for the Raw Women’s Title.
These could be some solid performances. Check out a preview of both:
Opinion: There is something so awesome about hearing the entrance song live and it is certainly better than having the mini concerts that WrestleMania has presented before. Throw in the WrestleMania tradition of America the Beautiful and everything should be fine. This is starting to feel like a regular WrestleMania and that is one of the best feelings that fans can have.
