Welcome back? There are a lot of things you can expect from any given WrestleMania and some of these are more popular than another. At the end of the day though, WrestleMania is the biggest wrestling event in WWE history and it makes sense that it will have its own series of traditions. While not yet confirmed, we might be seeing a repeat of a previously used version.
Celebrities have been a part of wrestling, and WrestleMania in particular, for a very long time now. That is going to be the case for a long time to come as there are all kinds of way to present a celebrity appearance. It can help to have a mainstream athlete as the guest star as they are likely to be more well known and able to get physical if necessary. That has been the case before, but now someone might be making a second appearance.
WWE COO Triple H appeared on the Pardon My Take podcast where he was mentioned that WWE has considered bringing back Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Rob Gronkowski back for WrestleMania 37. Gronkowski served as the host of WrestleMania 36 and won the 24/7 Title. He would never wrestle a traditional match for the company before stepping away to return to the NFL. WrestleMania 37 is being held in Tampa, Florida, where Gronkowski plays for the Buccaneers. This is only a discussion and Gronkowski has not been confirmed or announced for an appearance.
He has been around. Check out Gronkowski’s time in WWE:
Opinion: I know this is going to get some puzzled looks, but at the same time, remember that there will be fans this time around. One of the biggest problems with Gronkowski’s appearance last year was the lack of people. The point of bringing in Gronkowski is to bring up the energy, which is rather difficult to pull off when there is no one to bring energy from. Hopefully it works out this time, assuming it actually happens.
