That’s a weird one. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and some of them are a lot more serious than others. Over the years, wrestlers have had their careers ended in the blink of an eye with an injury, but others are only going to put them on the shelf for a short time, if at all. It seems that everything has been seen in one way or another, but that might not be the case with this one.

The AEW’s women’s division has come a long way in a fairly short time. What started off as a bit of a mess has evolved into one of the better things on their show, with a great mixture of characters, matches and storylines. The division has a solid present but also a firm future, as various wrestlers seem ready to move up the ladder. One of them has a bit of an odd medical situation though.

AEW’s Penelope Ford has posted a series of tweets revealing that she has suffered an allergic reaction to some fake eyelashes she usually wears. As a result, her eyelids have swollen and are burning and itching. Ford has suffered from the issue before, but was incorrectly told it was seasonal allergies. She also said that it was funny and did not suggest she would be missing any ring time.

Ford is quite the AEW star. Check out what she has done in the company:

What in he World Did We Just Watch? Was this the Craziest Wedding Ever | AEW Beach Break

I Bet Penelope Never Saw That Coming. Kris Statlander is Back! | AEW Dynamite, 3/31/21

Opinion: This is one of those things that does not seem to be incredibly serious, meaning that it is a case where you can make light of something that isn’t going to cause many issues. If nothing else, it is a funny little story about being injured by makeup, which has to be one of the weirdest things to happen to a wrestler. Ford should be back in the ring with no problems though, and that is what matters most.
