Everyone gets a shot at Enzo Amore this week. As you might have heard, it’s been a rough few weeks for Amore this week. Not only has he been deemed almost universally hated backstage but he’s now on one of the least important shows in WWE as he’s been moved to “205 Live”. Amore may have gotten to do something cool over the weekend, but it came at the price of a verbal jab.
WWE.com posted a story about Amore purchasing a $10,000 ticket to attend the Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather fight with a floor seat. The article includes a link to Amore’s Instagram page, where he posted a shot of the ticket:
However, not everyone seemed all that impressed. Kevin Owens responded on Twitter, showing a picture of a package of chicken breast he had purchased for $6.94. The Tweet, directed at WWE, said that he had made a better decision than Amore had made.
Here’s what happened in one of the only times Owens and Amore were in the ring together.
Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs. Kevin Owens & Chris Jericho: Raw, Sept. 26, 2016
Opinion: In addition to shaking my head at the statement on the ticket that $1 will go towards unarmed combat training in Nevada (which I’m sure is on all tickets, including those for far cheaper events), I couldn’t help but laugh at what Owens said. It’s Amore’s money and he’s free to spend it however he wants but sweet goodness that’s a lot of money for a few hours of….well of anything actually.
