That’s how you fill in the card. I’m still not sure how they do it but WWE can have five hours of major television a week and still not be able to fill in a full pay per view card until the very last minute. That seems to be the case with this week’s Stomping Grounds as there are still matches to be set for the show with less than a week left. One such match has been set though.
This week on Monday Night Raw, it was announced that the New Day (Big E. and Xavier Woods) will face Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at Sunday’s Stomping Grounds. The two teams have been feuding with each other, mainly as part of Kofi Kingston’s issues with both of them. The four were involved in a six man tag on Monday Night Raw with Woods pinning Zayn in the first fall.
And here’s a preview. Check out part of the six man tag:
Opinion: This was one of the matches you could see coming from a long way off and there’s nothing wrong with that. These four should make for a good match and that’s the kind of thing Stomping Grounds needs more than anything else given how weak the main events are looking. Hopefully they can exceed expectations because it’s the kind of match the show needs.
