Who’s he got? We’re less than a week away from Stomping Grounds and one of the biggest stories of the show is Baron Corbin getting a rematch against Seth Rollins for the Universal Title. Rollins beat Corbin at Super ShowDown but Corbin claimed a biased referee so the rematch is set for Sunday with Corbin getting to pick his own referee. That decision was scheduled for Monday, so who did Corbin select?

Corbin attempted to name his referee on Monday Night Raw but never actually made a selection. Various people throughout the night attempted to take the position but Rollins attacked each of them with a chair, promising to do the same thing to everyone who tried to become the referee. While not confirmed, it is most likely that the referee will be announced on Sunday during the match.

Rollins wasn’t just attacking potential referees. Check out what happened when Corbin turned his back:

Opinion: The strategy that WWE is attempting with this story makes sense as the identity of the special referee can be a good cliffhanger for Sunday. The problem though is that the cliffhanger is for a story that doesn’t have the strongest appeal. Corbin vs. Rollins has not been a well received feud and this match hasn’t exactly come off as a highlight of Sunday’s card. Hopefully the reveal helps, but it’s going to take some effort.
